Mondragon Lingua expands into the US with the opening of a new subsidiary in Washington, D.C., Mondragon Lingua USA, Inc.

Sep 17, 2012

HAMISI AMANI-DOVE, an American professional with extensive experience in the marketing of corporate communication projects, will be at the helm of this new subsidiary.

After acquiring the Madrid-based COMUNICACIÓN MULTILINGÜE in 2011, Mondragon Lingua continues forward in the Strategic Development Plan for its translation and communication business and takes its first step in its internationalization process to transfer its knowledge and experience in the communication and translation world to the US market.

There were several factors behind the decision to open a subsidiary in this region:

  1. The significant expectations for growth observed in the United States' translation sector.
  2. The important fact that it already has a relevant client base in the area, including the World Bank, United Nations, International Monetary Fund and IBM, to name a few. One clear objective of this subsidiary is to further consolidate the relationship with these clients and increase sales.
  3. The existing institutional and corporate fabric of the East Coast of the United States, particularly, in the Washington, D.C. and New York areas: governmental administration, international organizations, pharmaceutical industry, IT, etcetera- spheres in which Mondragon Lingua has solid experience in offering translation and multilingual communication services.

To successfully carry out this challenge, MONDRAGON LINGUA stands behind Hamisi Amani-Dove, who is putting his extensive professional experience in the US market at the service of this exciting Mondragon Lingua project in his role as Business Development Manager USA.
We wish Hamisi the best of luck in meeting this challenge, and as a former Olympian (Atlanta 1996), we are sure he will “play hard”.
